Another great win this week from the 2nd team. Many changes were made but we played well together as a team and ended up winning by 12 goals. An excellent performance from all players.
Amazing play by Chantelle who hardly missed a goal, therefore was awarded players player and nominated player. A strong defence saw us turn many balls which we then scored from making the gap much bigger than just 1 goal at half time. During the 2nd half an injury caused some changes however the team stayed strong and the team spirit was high.
Really pleased with the 2nd teams performance, let’s keep winning!

A fantastic win from the 2nd team this weekend. Everyone went out showing 100% effort and commitment which was all I could ask for as my first game as captain. The first half proved to be the strongest half for Winterbourne demonstrating great play down the court.
Brilliant shooting from Chantelle and Charlie who showed great teamwork and played a strong game. Defence had to change their tactics after the first quarter but once the changes were made the defence were hard to beat, great teamwork between Jo and Kathryn who stopped a lot of goals. Fantastic travelling down the court by our centre court players Emily, Nik and Nay who took their time and controlled the play of the game well.
The second half saw Frys making a small comeback by scoring off their own centres but not turning over any of Winterbournes centres. Winterbourne played really well throughout the game and continued to maintain the lead to finish the last quarter winning by 8 goals.
A great performance by both teams.
